To/From the Airport there is currently no scheduled bus service between the airport and the city. An auto-rickshaw/taxi will cost at least Rs 150/200 for the 15km journey into the city centre. Cut costs by sharing.

Auto-Rickshaw
There are prepaid auto-rickshaw stands at the bus and train stations. Rates are fixed by the government, so there's no need to haggle. If you want to hire an auto-rickshaw for local sightseeing it should xost about Rs 200/300 for a half/full day (including a visit to Amber). Prices are often inflated for tourists, so be prepared to bargain. Cycle-rickshaws are a cheaper option.

Bicycle
Bicycles can be hired from most bike shops, including the one to the right as you exit the main train station, a few steps past the reservation office (Rs 2/24 per hour/day). Some hotels can also arrange bike hire.
