Indiabeckons began as a dream that needed to be woven into reality. The
brainchild of Raajaysh Chetwal, a passionate traveller & head of
Rhombus Films, the purpose of
Indiabeckons was not just providing information on India. The goal was
to reach out to like-minded people across the globe and initiate a
community of passionate travellers that would act as a tour-conducting organisation.
Through Indiabeckons, we intend to make your journeys not just
another tour or vacation, but an experience to treasure and a movement
to assist. The movement - a network of reliable people who can,
collectively and individually, shoulder the responsibility of conducting
personalized tours for anyone who wishes to tour India. The idea is to
operate as a community of facilitators under a single name - monetary
gain notwithstanding - driven purely by passion and pride. It is a big responsibility and we would, if we
default, owe an explanation to our own selves as Indian citizens."

cheerful and ready to pack his bags and embark on a journey at the drop
of a hat. Has criss-crossed the entire length and breadth of
India by road, many times over. Travel, to him. is not just a passion.

Rekha Kalra
Concurrently International Business Consultant and Vfx Producer at Binc BKK (Bangkok), co-owner and Director, Ropetrick Films and Rhombus Films (Mumbai), Rekha's initial experience as 3d animator and Flint/Flame Artist and producer aids a strong technical base ... Alongside, she passionately keeps herself attuned through her love for travel, theatre, dance, music and yoga.
Sameer Kohli
An IIT alum, Sameer is an articulate filmmaker- with three released films as a screenwriter, and one going on floors as his directorial debut in early 2010; and a short story writer- with several print pieces and a released book to his credit. His skill lies in precise planning, no matter how large the project and the vision is. His association with India Beckons is a result of his inquisitiveness in learning and understanding the existing, yet hitherto unknown, facets of India and her people.
Ashok Sharma
Ashok has over 18 years of diverse experience in investment management, corporate finance and marketing. He is currently a director and founding member at Blue Stream India Capital, a India focused private equity fund. Earlier he was Vice President of Investments at Eight Capital, a $160 million investment fund. Before that Ashok spent several years in corporate management and entrepreneurial ventures in USA and Europe in Telecom industry focused on business strategy and marketing and led successful global market launches of innovative technology products. Ashok started his career with Tata Consultancy Services in Mumbai. Ashok has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani, India and an MBA in Finance from Wharton Business School, USA.
Vijay Mohan
Vijay is a team player who enjoys interacting with people. He has 22 years of corporate experience with leading media organizations. He is passionate about travel and has left his footprints in the Northern, Eastern and Western regions of India. This includes treks to the Rohtang Pass and Kishtwar (J&K) organized by the Indian Army. Vijay is also an avid sportsperson and has represented his college in Badminton and Football at the regional level. His leisure time is spent in reading fiction, swimming and playing golf. His energetic spirit is infectious.
Puneet Sachdeva
This young maverick from the foothills of the Shivaliks in the North is nothing if not an operations man. From running paper and towel factories, he has now focussed on making India a dream destination for corporate America. But that's only half the story. An adventurer to the core, meeting and interacting with people from all walks of life is a passion with him. Extensively travelled and a frequent trekker in the Himalayas, he is the biggest go-getter on either side of the equator.
