SPORTS
Maritim Hotel offers the most extensive variety of sports facilities. Daily activities include games and competitions such as beach-volley, petanque, table-tennis, water-polo and football.
Except where otherwise specified, all sports and use of sports equipment are free of charge.
GOLF
A 9-hole (par 29) golf course, designed by Graham March and out golf-pro.

GYM
Located next to the pool and adjacent to the Wellness Centre. Our 150 sqm fully air-conditioned gym is fitted out with a selection of modern equipment.

Horse Riding
Open from Monday to Friday, 09.00 - 15.00 hrs the stables and the corral are on the upper part of the property. There are 8-12 horses and ponies.
Lessons in the corral at a minimal fee.
Tennis
3 floodlit tennis courts.
Rackets available from the hotel.
Boat-House
Open daily:
09.30 - 17.00 hrs.
Fully equipped for all kinds of water sports.
Water sports are completely free of charge and are not subject to any time limits.
Collective lessons for skiing and wind-surfing are also free.
Activities and Facilities
Water skiing, wind-surfing, sailing (hobie-cats and Lasers), canoeing, pedalos, glass-bottom boat trips,
snorkelling.
DIVING CENTRE
Open daily, except Saturday 09.00-17.00 hrs.
The centre is fully equipped to take on 2 dives per day. Equipment includes tanks, regulators, masks, snorkels, fins, weight belts, wet-suits and stabilizing jackets. The cost per dive is approximately Rs. 800. Equipment rentals: Rs. 150.
The Diving Centre also offers the following, for a reasonable fee:
- refresher courses 2
- resort courses
- night dives
- CMAS courses (1 and 2 stars)

ACTIVITIES
Bicycle Tours
Tours through the Mauritian country side with a guide from the hotel.
Cost approximately Rs. 175 per person.
Mountain Hiking Tours
Explore one of the peaks of the Port Louis/Moka mountain range with a guide.
The cost is approximately Rs. 275 per person.
Sailing Cruises
A comfortable sailing yacht is available in front of the hotel. The programme of day cruises includes trips to Port Louis, Grand Baie, Coin de Mire and the outer islands as well as leisurely sunset cruises.
The cost per person range from Rs. 500. to Rs. 1,000.
Big Game Fishing
A fleet of motor yachts are available for half and full day charters. Trips start directly from the hotel jetty (no transport required). The equipment on board is according to IGFA standards.
Approximate costs:

Full day: Rs. 10,000
Blue Safari
Enjoy the depth and discover the undersea world with 'Blue Safari' submarines based at Trou aux Biches (transport required).

Para-Sailing
Para-sailing is also available directly from the hotel jetty.
